Since 2001, Justin has studied, danced, and taught over a dozen dance forms in more than 30 countries. In 2005 Justin fell in love with the Blues and Fusion communities and has never looked back. He has since been recognized as a world renowned instructor, community organizer, and one of the primary founding members of the Fusion global dance community.

Justin’s teaching and dance has been most influenced by the blues idiom dances and cultural story. while also centering the dancer's creativity and collaboration on the dance floor. Justin utilizes techniques and pedagogy adapted from the Somatic arts of Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais, and the Franklin Method to develop a dynamic understanding of how we move and learn. Justin is the founder of Recess Productions, now named Unbound Fusion, often considered the world's most influential Fusion production company, has placed in and won numerous prestigious dance competitions around the world, and commits himself to the progress of partnered dancing as a living, growing, and ever-evolving cultural art form.
