SWEET MARTA & THE BLUES SHAKERS is a prominent blues band from Barcelona, ​​known for their authentic interpretations of classic American blues and their powerful live performances.

Band born in early 2013, with the only female harmonica player in the state blues scene, and on vocals, with great sensitivity and magnetism as a singer, Sweet Marta is accompanied by musicians with a long career and recognition such as Johnny BigStone on guitar, Little Jordi on bass and Marc Ruiz on drums. This band is characterized by its energetic sound that encompasses several blues subgenres, such as Texas blues, Chicago blues, West Coast blues, and funk blues. Their repertoire combines their own compositions with covers of classics by artists such as Junior Wells, Koko Taylor, Sonny Boy Williamson II and George Harmonica Smith.
