A journey through the tradition of 1960s Electric Blues and the golden era of Rhythm & Blues, The Blues Way is a project by SirJo Cocchi and Balta Bordoy. The dynamic voice and piano style of SirJo, combined with Balta’s raw and authentic guitar sound, ignite enthusiastic responses both in duo and full-band performances.

After winning the European Blues Challenge Spain at the Bilbao Blues Festival 2025, the group will travel to Poland in April 2026 for the European final. Recently, the band sold out shows during their first tour across Italy and Switzerland, including a performance at Blue Note Milano, Italy’s most renowned jazz club with a capacity of over 300 people.

SirJo & Balta are now set to perform at festivals and additional club dates throughout this autumn and winter in Hungary, Switzerland, Italy, and Spain.
