Oulouy is a dance artist, choreographer, and cultural curator from Côte d’Ivoire and France, based in Barcelona. Through movement, his work explores questions of identity, origin, and direction — who we are, where we come from, and where we are going.

His body speaks the language of African street dances (Coupé Décalé, Ndombolo, Afrohouse, Azonto, and others), while carrying stories of identity, resistance, and joy. For Oulouy, dance is not merely expression; it is memory, power, and connection.

He is the founder of OYOFE, a cultural platform that serves as a home to many — a festival, a studio, a company, and above all, a community. OYOFE was created as a way to give back, building bridges between Africa and its diaspora, between street and stage, between the past and the future.

His works — Black, Afrikan Party, Kong — reflect that journey. They are at once celebrations and confrontations: questioning, honoring, and dreaming.

Oulouy is part of a generation of artists who believe that African dances are not just entertainment, but archives of wisdom, tools of resistance, and instruments of freedom.
