A professional musician for over 20 years, Brian O’Mahony is the founder and front man of Barcelona’s blues band Mr. Shingles. In 2018, he released Green in Blue, the band’s first album — a collection of original songs and covers celebrating the connection between the blues and Irish artists.

In 2020, he collaborated with Canadian harmonica player James Sedgwick on an acoustic blues album, and in 2024 Mr. Shingles unveiled their latest project, Fill in the Blanks — a journey through the golden age of Soul and Electric Blues featuring five original tracks.

With his powerful voice and unmistakable stage presence, Brian has performed around the world, from intimate venues to major stages, sharing the heart and soul of the blues.
