For a warm and big welcome party we will have Michael Roach with his lecture “From Work Songs to the Blues, Hip Hop and Beyond” Michael will present a program that will start with how work songs developed using poetry, dance and rhythm. It will be interactive and there will be an exhibition of material. Then we will enjoy dancing with the guitar player, singer, composer and producer Martín Burguez. One of the top artists of the actual local scene.

All this happening in one of our favorite meeting places for Blues dancers. La Iguana as you may know, is already a tradition for us, the best place to start with 4 non-stoping nights with many hours of live music and DJ's. A cozy bistrot with a wonderful wooden floor at 5 minutes walk from the main train station in town, Sants Estació. There you can have a cold drink or enjoy a delicious sandwich or some tapas, we love the cook, mmmhhhhhh! There are also some sofas for laying down if your trip has been tiring.

A nice concert hall in one of the main avenues in Barcelona, with wooden floor and a wonderful stage and a perfect soundsystem. Right at the entrance there’s a cozy bar, La Murgui, where you can have dinner and have a drink at reasonable prices.

Classes are back in this edition. We advance lots of fun and learning with these amazing teachers. Three hours to go deep into either Blues Dance in couple, Solo Blues o Fusion Dance. It doesn’t matter what are you sweet dance tastes, we have a right track for you! More details about teachers and the class topics in our Classes section. All the classes will be centralized at the same venue, the Swing Maniacs, Roger de Flor 291-293. Big rooms with air conditioning, mirrors and wooden floor, the perfect place to enjoy and learn.

The Chocolate Museum is a dynamic facility promoted by the Barcelona Confectioners' Guild, located in the former convent of Sant Agustí, which presents a journey through the origins of chocolate, its arrival in Europe and its dissemination as an element situated between myth and reality, between its medicinal properties and its nutritional value, linking tradition with the future and forming part of our collective imagination.

The trip begins on Sunday morning. We’ll have a bus waiting for us at Montbau Metro Station to ride us to a beautiful masia in the countryside (Catalan historical restaurant) to enjoy one of the best and more famous Catalan traditions, Calçotada, a delicious gastronomical and fun experience mixed with cava or wine (vegetarian options available).

We cannot finish this festival without one of the sweetest voice&harmonica of our local scene. We’ll have the pleasure to enjoy this band that will sure make us sweat out the latest energy drops if we keep having any!
